Urban Re-densification

The redensification project of a modern apartment building in Berlin faced the challenge of creating additional living space in a limited space while complying with strict fire safety regulations. Intelligent planning strategies and innovative solutions made it possible to create additional residential units without compromising building quality or comfort. Close cooperation with the authorities made it possible to optimally integrate fire safety regulations, for example through the use of fireproof materials and the improvement of escape routes. The project shows how well thought-out architecture and technological innovations enable sustainable redensification even in urban space constraints.
